Californian here and let me first say, Terrell your sub-header is misleading; Elder isn’t on the ballot of next week’s recall (I realize you clarified that fact in your post), and most importantly, the CA-GOP hasn’t endorsed him.

Her ass needs to have stepped down years ago. I’ve voted against her every time she’s been up since I turned 18, and her old ass is still doddering on, refusing to go away.

Elder is also already floating the “election fraud” narrative out there, which means his internal polling must be pretty bad for him.

It takes a majority of people who vote in the recall, not a majority of all voters in CA. Unless you are assuming that at least as many will vote in this recall as did in the presidential election (which would be a wild assumption to make, given turnout patterns).

This recall is part of our state’s constitution, in which you only need 12% of the total of the previous election’s votes in order to trigger a recall.
