haha, Harmony is a man, his wife is in the movie too actually!(the girl with pink hair) And to be honest i'm still unsure about Selena's abilities. She fit well in her role cause it didn't veer too far from her image, IMO. Ashley Benson is pretty good in it and so is Vanessa. I want to see it again that's for sure.

i seriously freaking love, love, love her.

Saw it at TIFF. It was great. It's exploitative but satirical, but without being sanctimonious about it. and it's fun, really funny, violent and beautiful at times. On the surface it looks like any "teen movie" but it's not and that has a lot to do with Harmony Korine being the writer and director.

... unless the writers sweep it under the rug. As you said that moment was more about Elena than April, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't mention that little plot hole in the scene ever again and just kept on with the other stories.

The colours in the video are beautiful, but there seems to be a great disconnection between it and the song. She's singing and hitting all these high notes and its all sounding really up beat, yet she's standing against a wall, barely moving. There once was a really uncomfortable and possibly dangerous situation with a fellow student at my old school and many people, including teachers where making jokes about it.
