@J.D. Papillon: "The One: Making a Music Star" —A reality TV show he hosted that centered around the lives of music artists and their drama, etc. I just call it a mishap, cuz it was kind of cheesy and it got canceled really soon after it aired. I'm just glad that's not what Strombo is gonna be remembered for, lol.
@Tamírki: That's what I'm worried about, leaving out the specially little things that made the book so great. A two-part or tree-part film could be a good idea, I hope that's what they're aiming for.
@J.D. Papillon: Haha, trust me your not the only guy with a man-crush on him, he is as good as you just said. He puts a lot of Canadian hosts and "journalists" to shame. I'm so glad his show has lasted this long, specially after the whole "The One" mishap.
@J.D. Papillon: I had a crush on him during his MM VJ days, specially after that U2 interview he did. He's really good on The Hour, I saw his interview with Cory Monteith and it was very... deep (for lack of a better word) like I felt he got Cory to share a lot about himself and his personal life and it didn't seem…
@Tamírki: I heard there is a Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell film already in production. I looked it up on IMDB but there doesn't seem to be a lot of information on it. I think it would be a very hard book to adapt into a film (cuz it's so long and detailed) so even though I'll see the film I hope they find someway…
@Brodka: regrettably: Ditto. Such a wonderful book, in every sense of the word.
If it's anything like Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell then trust I'll be watching. If its really just harry potter for adults then i might just have to skip it, and I love the Fantasy genre, so here's hoping.
I'm so glad to read this, only because I have a friend who is perfectly healthy and fit (like she really does have abs and muscles) yet, when she took that BMI test at her gym the trainer guy told her she needed to put on 3 more pounds otherwise she's "unbalanced." Now she thinks she's not fit enough and not healthy…
@Coen: yes! But Wonderfalls did it better :)
@dc.parisian: While growing up, my brother and I would discuss different ways to kill someone and leave no evidence. Icicle stabbing was one of them. Also, hitting someone on the head with something edible (all we came up with was some sort of really hard bread) and then eating it, haha.
I don't care what anyone says I freaking love both Bono and Ali. They're awesome and that add is pretty good looking.
@MondayMondayMonday: Thank you! Man I don't get where all this Bono hate comes from really. Also, his wife is pretty cool.
@ms.idarose: "Laughter is cheap, I'm going for Gasps!" hahaha freaking love that show!
oooooh! I wanna see! and i don't even like horror movies, but this looks good.
@WillowWeen: Don is an asshole. He's also a bad father. Betty is hard to sympathize with and she is a bad mother. But we single her out because her bad parenting is highlighted. It's just a central part of her character, without it there wouldn't be much to say about her. But it makes me sad that people don't even try…
I call them "Mis Mamis"
I adore her. I don't know why. Plus, her outfit is pretty cute, we have a similar style :)
