I wouldn’t put it past the 49ers ownership and management to be simultaneously tanking and also doing anything they can to sabotage Kaepernick from building any value whatsoever.

That’s the part that enrages and baffles me the most (aside from everything else, I honestly can’t decide). You literally hire actors to pretend to feel emotion. There is no reason to force them to actually feel it. There is no fucking reason to make a woman really feel like she’s going to get raped. Talk to her like

I didn’t want Maria to act her humiliation, her rage. I wanted Maria to feel, not to act, the rage and humiliation.

Kate’s improper use of “your” has forever killed my boner for her.

As a basketball junkie who suffered through the era you’re referring to and made it to the other side of modern NBA, I feel no reservations in saying that you should definitely start watching again.

Chappelle’s riffs on race relations are innovative and intelligent. If you had said “Carlos Mencia”, I’d agree; however, the reason comedians tend to use their sex, race, etc. as a basis for jokes is because it’s what they know best. Some are just much better at being funny with it than others.

Interesting how around 1999-2000 the NBA had the highest average age, some of the other stats were decidedly worse? EFG was so low! Those fecal early 2000's is basically when I stopped watching the NBA. Maybe I should watch again?

I think he is just OK at standup, but I really liked season 1 of Master of None. Plus Tom Haverford had his moments on Parks & Rec.

Seriously. I’m getting nervous just looking at it.

Or turn off the Bluetooth for chrissakes!

That 3% battery charge bothers me more than anything mentioned in the article.

I guess that also explains why Drake and Steph are about half as freaked out as Chappelle.

Generally, I agree with you. However, All The President’s Men is one of my all-time favorite movies. Maybe it’s the exception that proves the rule.

I agree with you. Biopics, historical dramas, biographies, etc. I think that documentaries can be good with little time between them and the events, though — the financial collapse is a good example

It’s basically just mental jackoff material for right-wing writers. “Ooooh this is what I woulda done if I was there! Boom boom! Pew pew!”

So Bill Simmons told you what he masturbates to, huh?

I have a problem with historical movies only a few years removed from the events they portray. They should be made with more distance and less passion. It seemed like World Trade Center and United 93 were written mere minutes after the towers fell. The Benghazi fanfic too, that was only months after the event at issue.

Here’s an excerpt from the script:

This wasn’t about a “viable” candidate or personality or past. None of that mattered. This was a tribalism vote, a reaction to having a non-traditional leader of the country. Trump just happened to be the guy to get the support. If he had not run, it would have been Jeb Bush. Or Kaisch. Or whatever white , Christian
