Ronan Farrow tries, he really does, but the only reason he got the MSNBC job is because of who his mom is. The more I see him interview people the more apparent it becomes that he barely knows how to speak with actual human beings, which makes me wonder who does his research and guest-prep for him. And he leads his

I actually do agree - I'm glad that physical strength is being valued in women rather than just telling us to be as small as possible. But at the same time, it still comes down to pushing women into punishing workouts for the sake of vanity. I worry that muscles are being glorified less as a sign of strength and more

NO HE IS MY HUSBAND :( :( :(

EAT IT HATERS.

Sorry, your hear-say don't mean a thing. WHEN did you go there? Because I went in 2004 before the financial crash, then to Athens again more recently, and it's going tits up (I love Greece so this makes me very sad). They do NOT have the money to support their heritage. They should perhaps maintain what they have

I've mentioned this replying to someone else but the main reason the Marbles are such an issue in Greece, complete with expensive tourist-friendly museum to display them, is because they are a 'safe' political issue. Greece is falling apart. The politicians are detested. The country is on its knees and the cultural

You said (to someone else and apologies because I can't do the quotes):

While it's not a perfect test, by any means. It does state clearly in the larger population that we in America are fat. You can pick any measure you like, I prefer underwater weighing, but the huge (Pun intended) amount of data on the rising obesity rates, the additional costs associated with obesity related

Got ya. Yes, I agree that is correct to use it as a measure of the general population.

BMI isn't great for kids, seniors or elite athletes. For everyone else, it's not perfect but it's a pretty good ballpark. Of course, body fat % is pretty much the best measure for determining obesity, but it's expensive to do. Just because BMI isn't right for one segment of the population, doesn't mean it's not right

Using BMI on an individual basis is not very accurate, but obesity is meant to analyze populations, not individuals. So in this instance, as a measure of the entire population, BMI is very useful and being applied correctly for once.

Few people go to the extremes in exercise, certainly some. but frankly we as a society are fat and lazy, gadget addicted drama fiends.

We're not the *fattest* nation. (Eat that, Nauru! Whoops, you already did.)

No shame in being a yoga/running girl! I pretty much stick to those and it makes me feel strong (for my size), flexible, and light on my feet. I'm cool with my legs being the only obviously muscular part of me.

Ha, I will say that after the free trial class, I could barely move for days. But it's gotten so much better. Yes, I'm still sore after the few weeks that I've done it, but I'm also still out of shape. The atmosphere is really great. It's extremely inviting and more encouraging than any other gym I've been to.

Tbh, I think the greeks have too much on their plates right now to think about it. The wellbeing of the artefacts is the highest moral priority in my book, so I'm still team keep them here.

well, I'd say the BM's research into the subject is about the best available and they do deal with the justified objections (like illegal cleaning) rather than trying to gloss over them. Better than Wikipedia to find out how they came to the BM, you know? It may be likely to be biased but it is more informed than

I'm not saying we would go to Greece and nick it nowadays. But it's in England now in 2014, it's too late to NOT take it, and I don't think it's in the best interests of the cultural heritage of Greece to send it back there when they are clearly not equipped to look after it. Works of art like that should be preserved

'Stole a building' pfft. The rest of the Parthenon was badly damaged in the 20th century by restoration work and Elgin stole nothing; his work was supported by the authorities in Athens at the time. Without him we would all be deprived of a unique insight into Ancient Greek culture. And if you think the frieze should

So is getting married, and wearing an expensive dress, and wearing makeup, and etc. etc. etc. to infinity.
