I have an S4 (Verizon) and recently just did a factory reset with/to the new Lollipop update. It has really sped things up imo.

I’m impressed not just with your analysis, but you willingness to dig for umlaut-capped letters. Kudos!

Is there enough “value” in getting the 3 disc version for $14 vs. 1-disc for $6? I do love me some Blade Runner.

I really REALLY don't get the bitching about Origin. Obviously it's inferior to Steam but it's a perfectly serviceable system that stores and launches games. If you like the game (see BF4, Dragon Age, whatever), it does a good job of "not getting in the way." Which is all I really ask of them.

Best of all is that Virgin America flies out of Dulles. That’s worth a pile of gold alone.

I think he means the trains instead of the scissorlifts.

Why are you using the toll lanes to get to the airport? The airport lanes are free.

Which is fine, but I’m guessing it’s largely driven by the fact that they are primarily California with some branching into a whopping 4 other states. Chipotle, by way of comparison, is not just in 43 states but is also international. Scale matters when deriving policy.

This seems like something that begs to be adjusted for local conditions (cost of living, local minimum wage). With the vast majority of In N Out locations being in California, they are subject to California’s minimum wage laws, which is $9/hr (5th highest in the nation); meanwhile, the others being far more national

A couple things for my semi-weekly Manhattan.

It's just GE's old business. They spun out the consumer finance division. In fact, they were the issuer on the previous Amazon (non-Chase) financing.
