I can barely focus on the article because I am too busy being impressed by Jim Carrey's vocal prowess! That was really him singing, right? And not a bad Charelston Heston impression at all. Whoever wrote the song is pretty damn clever too.
In the books, John is told to infiltrate the wildlings by that one really bad ass guy (whose name escapes me) and do whatever it takes to make them think he has truly converted to their cause. In the show, is he fronting? Or does he really want to "fight on the side that fights for the living??"
Question; burning question with potential spoilers, so see the reply.

SO many wonderfully giffable moments! My favorites include: 1:04- confounded 'iunno!' faces as he gropes for words to describe the 'Lochte Edge'. and his 'Eternal Optimist' special snowflake dance at 4:00.
WOW. That sounds so terrible. I'm sorry. You were in the right, so I hope you don't feel bad. A little self awareness never hurt anyone, and I hope it penetrates through the thick skulls of the parents.
I hated the pilot. Then I watched the next episodes and am a full fledged fan. Not a rabid fan, but a fan.
I laughed out loud at Rob Delaney's tweet. Kinda embarrassed.
