That long?
That long?
I wouldn’t hold your breath. Unless there’s some kind of battery epiphany it just ain’t gonna happen. For electric cars to take over they have to behave EXACTLY like a petro car, i.e. quick refueling and 300-400 mile range at the very least. I just don’t believe it will happen.
This. A close friend’s oldest son just picked up an ‘07 with 130k for $5k.
Very true. Just let someone else take the depreciation hit. Buy a nice just-off-lease K900 for many many thousands less.
I’d be scared shitless trying to maintain a 20 year old one of these. Yikes!
Porsche?
I’ve driven my buddy’s 4Runner several times and I agree it will probably run forever but DAMN is it gutless! The thing couldn’t beat a transit bus in a drag race.
Mesmerizing...
You should see how the interior is turning to crap on my buddy’s ‘12 4Runner. Plastic fantastic, indeed.
My eyes are bleeding...
Stop you? Hell, I'm going to ENCOURAGE you!!! DO EET!!!!!
Yea... ain’t it great :D ?
Stack envy :) .
WHAT?!?!?
True, but wouldn’t it be fun to clear your driveway of snow with a turbine snowblower?
I’ll bet you golf... or fish.
Actually, after the tests were done the engines and shroud were removed and the M497 went back to the mundane job of hauling passengers for a few more years.
Isn’t that downhill? With a tailwind?
I’d agree if state inspection programs weren’t so gawddamned crooked. Take Pennsylvania, for example...
Don’t do this. Seriously. Don’t. Just... don’t.
