I don’t know if you’ve seen it in person, but the Hot Pepper Red is a really nice color! That computer image mockup does not do it justice.

I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure that was a Tom Cruise lookalike haha.
Oh, so to “them” it’s feature, not a bug.
I have ZERO bearing on whether this is a ND or NP, but man has the design aged well. If there were a couple more hard angles on it you’d be able to convince me it was a current model.
Out of all the bullshit quoted in this article, this stuck out to me the most -
Of course not. It’s more the time factor vs cost. Looking at at least $100 for two rings then I’d have to rig up some sort of way to seal the bottom and make the vents for the secondary ignition. I think the best way to do it will be cut a $40 metal trash can in half because the corrugations allow it to vent itself…
You could, but they’re pretty expensive. Almost to the point it’s more economical to buy a Solo Stove. I’m looking into doing this with a galvanized steel trash can. I’m trying to see how long it may last but am having trouble finding anything concrete.
A 20 quart stock pot is pretty small, I’m wracking my brain trying to think of other materials that could be used. Any ideas? If you can get your hands on it, a stainless steel clothes washer or dryer tub would probably work well. Does anyone know of any good videos that demonstrate this?
Haha, even the actual teams are having trouble simulating the porpoising.
Probably not too much if you’re on appropriate terrain. I bet on asphalt you’d get a nice flat spot though.
Good follow-up article Elizabeth. Classy move.
Great article! Just one small typo -
That’s hella cool, but I’d rather just have the skid block with the track wear to mount on my wall. I wonder if there’s a place you can buy unaltered parts.
This is what I took away from the article too.
Beat me to it; damn.
Moneyball is one of the best movies ever made. It’s a near perfect movie.
When I was a new to being a toddler parent, I used “Be Careful” all the time and then it dawned on me that they had no idea what that meant. So now I mostly say, “Slow down, and pay attention”. It gets them to assess the situation and the consequences more critically. Also, I don’t mind if they find some things out…
I honestly can’t imagine how many they could sell if they were able to fulfill orders. Every time I see one on the road (rarely) I’m surprised by how nice they look. I know the interior leaves a lot to be desired, but it’s an economy car.
I freaking love this song. This and Out of My Head.
