I’ve never driven at those speeds, but from the video it didn’t look very planted when it hit the end of the big straight. I don’t know if it’s the camera, the track, or the car, but there was a lot of bouncing around.

It’s possible he wasn’t rebuilding credit, but that he had no credit at all.  He sounded younger in the write-up so it’s not unimaginable.

He sounds younger. He may not have had bad credit, just zero credit. I had a friend who bought a pair of waverunners so he could build credit because he couldn’t get a mortgage.  It’s a weird world.

Watching Romain whittle down the gap at the end of this was race was incredibly exciting. I didn’t realize Indy didn’t have blue-flag rules.
