The most effective vaccine is the one you can get.

This is how they should do the hood-line on all pickup trucks for pedestrian safety.

I have always used, when traveling, the penny trick. I’m I am traveling for more than two days I place a penny on a cube in my ice tray. If I come home and that penny is submerged in that cube I can safely assume the fridge, and likely the freezer, have both been compromised and need purged.

I lost power in San Antonio for 70 hours. Fortunately someone on Reddit suggested collecting the snow in ziplock bags and packing it in the fridge and freezer. Fortunately I had 7 gallon size zip lock bags. It served two really good purposes. Of course, it kept the food cold in the fridges and freezers. It also

Hank would have been so proud about the spaghetti dinner I made on the propane camping stove last night.

Henderson & Kane, which remained open although it had no power, had free coffee and cocoa on hand so shoppers could warm up their hands and frigid faces.

If people seem to take issue with the photos, then that’s their problem.

Yeah, I shared about getting the vaccine on Instagram because I’ve had friends and family members repeating misinformation about the vaccine that they saw online.

Totally agree that people should not share photos of their vaccine cards on social media but mostly because fuck them for bragging. Go ahead and tell your friends and family but don’t throw it in the face of other people who really need the vaccine and haven’t been able to get it yet.

I know I’ve been living deeper under a rock this past year, but what good is a faked vaccine card?

Are there things where people are being required to show proof of being vaccinated? Is there anything that even makes the cards “official”? Are they a legal form of ID?

In their early days (when I lived in Boston), Boston Market had genuinely good chicken & sides, but as they grew their quality REALLY dropped.

Wasn’t part of the Boston Market collapse due to Supermarkets just offering up their own Rotisserie chickens? Now, most Supermarkets (HEB’s in my area), have Ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat Boston market style family meals
