I mean this as neutrally as it’s possible to be about this in an online comment, but it’s fascinating that they cast a non-Jewish person for this.

Also, reading between the lines on all the interviews they’ve done, Pascal has only budgeted a Sean Bean amount of time, and a full extra season with him as a lead probably isn’t in the cards.
My impression was that it was going to be two more seasons, but that they would cover the game pretty much as it is, fleshing stuff out about the same amount the first game did. TLoU2 was about twice as long as TLoU1.
Just to be clear: This would simply be Twitch running a camming site.
(Also, just generally, Twitch is, and has always been, a SFW camming site. Basically everything about twitch designed to increase engagement is based off of stuff originally designed for live sex sites. Twitch is weird.)
Haha, I think he means a spoiler for the main game, and yes it is.
This hands on is the first time that I think I became aware that this game was first-person.
Yeah, I was going to say, Sleeper is a perfectly cromulent “high DPS” weapon, and a high DPS weapon like Sleeper is basically a pre-requisite for doing a lot of the raids. Sleeper is also easier to use than a lot of other similar high DPS options.
Considering how that was phrased, it sounds less like this was Rockstar/2K generally asking him to do this, and more the Housers specifically personally asking him to shut it down.
Which, you know, [mimes jerk off motion]
Well, they passed the first test of any new “big-indie” studio: The picture of all of them together smiling isn’t just a bunch of 40-year-old white dudes.
They likely could have released two to three non-live service games in the nine years between their last game and this one. Similar situation as with The Avengers, which solidly ate up the same amount of time as at least two non-live-service games from Crystal Dynamics.
Was that in the era when they made everyone get a new email address every three months because of ~reasons~?
Considerablly smaller.
Still really quite big.
I believe it’s still notably bigger than the PS4 Pro. It does seem like this one will fit into standard AV shelf units though, which the first PS5 often doesn’t.
To be fair, The Hidden Ones are, for all intents and purposes, just the Assassins with a different name. The Order is markedly and philosophically different from the Templars to the extent that it’s a plot point in Valhalla.
FWIW, you aren’t getting to any of Valhalla’s 3-ish main scenario endings in just 50 hours. Probably closer to 60 or 70. Was a big-ass game.
Also, for the record, the old-school Assassin’s Creed games, especially after the first one, aren’t really “open-world” games as we conceive them today. They are pretty linear…
The scuttlebutt on this game is that it started its life as the final DLC for Valhalla and relatively early on in production they decided that they were going to release it as a full game. The relatively simple scenario stayed pretty much as they mapped it out, but the gameplay was customized to be much closer to the…
And as Ubisoft has been promising, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is exactly that. Assassin’s Creed Mirage transports you back to a time when stealth mattered, climbing was a puzzle, enemies could be dispatched with a single sneaky blade, and the titular assassins of the series were actually assassins.
I’ll be interested to see if the show counts the comic series as canon (the games never directly referenced them, but also went out of their way not to contradict them, and some wild stuff happened there).
Something that I think many people might not realize is that voice actors are significantly more vulnerable to AI replacements than just about any other creative field right now.
The unfortunate issue with The Division is that very few American cities would actually be more interesting to do than just doing, say, the 2/3rds of Manhattan that they didn’t do in the first game.
Going to throw this out there: Warren Ellis did shitty things which he apologized for. It’s totally open to judge him that he’s shitty because of that, and apologies are not enough for the harm he caused, but he really does seem repentant. Willingham is a pretty unalloyed piece of shit and a total asshole.
