Dammit, I’m going to have to find out how to do Amazon, Netflix, whatever streaming is, god I need a college student to help me (and help me with TV too).

Maybe it’s better in French, like porn.

when I’m re-reading Harry Potter books I skip the quidditch and most of the youthful hijinks, but whne I’m reading in a foreign language I feel obligated to read the whole thing. Except in Latin.

They have quickie-healie meds now, so next week he’ll be as good as new.

They lost me at the chained woman.

“I like that Prax is starting to assimilate some of Amos’s attitudes. He might’ve much nicer upbringing but now he can push corpses out of the way with the best of them.”

That’s my theory for wy black became the most popula color in the Eighties: styles were changing but we couldn’t figure out what they were changing into, so it was safest to wear black.

Another forgotten skill of our great-grandmothers.

If only the crew had their names on their uniforms, like soldiers. Too distracting, I know.

Just be careful about which acid you drop. I hear the brown stuff isn’t too good...

Yeah, my dear late hubby didn’t have a date for 10 years before we met up and he didn’t take it out on other people. Come to think of it, he didn’t lose his virginity until he was 23...

Hm... I’ve been involuntarily celibate (whatever that means, I guess it means I haven’t propositioned anyone or received any invitations) for 6 years, yet I’ve never felt like running around shooting the opposite sex or running people over.

Yes, I was much impressed by Mr. Blanky, who was a cipher until last week. I am also interested to see what becomes of the “Is he or isn’t he” fellow who was given the book written by Xenophon. Maybe I should look at Xenophon myself...

Not having read the book, I continue to find it difficult to distinguish many of the characters - I keep wondering “Who’s that guy again? What’s his position?” Some men I can only identify by their varying hair and beards. But I am still enjoying teasing all of this out.
