in 2013 and 14 the BRZ/FR-S actually outsold the outgoing WRX

i mean the BRZ has sold plenty well, its just 8 years old at this point and its a niche car to begin with.  Everyone who wants one has already got one or is waiting for the next gen.  GTI, Challenger, appeal to a much broader crowd because the design is much more mainstream and livable as a DD, even if you have kids

minivan + weekend racecar with straight pipes is the god tier garage

e46 m3s and honda s2000s are absolutely going to be like the e30 and mk4 supra of the era. The m3 sold in relatively big quantities but there has been lots of attrition but it is a far less flawed car than the supra. the m3 and s2k both have aged really well in terms of looks and they are a pure analog car the types

you called the 991 the red headed step child of 911s but i’m pretty sure you mean the 996.  the 991 sold a ton and is well loved (in fact the prices are starting to trend upwards instead of depreciate on early ones since they are the last naturally aspirated 911s.  The 996 is the one everyone didn’t like because it

It is a battery and not an assault.  Assault necessitates a reasonable fear for one’s personal safety PRIOR to the battery in most jurisdictions whereas a battery is an offensive touching.  Since the creep came up from behind she could not anticipate/fear the battery.  An assault would be like if the guy first made

tomorrow at thanksgiving i’m going to announce that i am thankful that nobody in my family looks as much like shit as somehow FIFTY NINE year old Jeremy Clarkson.  The guy looks like he could have been frat bros with Biden.

ahh yes the inline 6 powered Rotary Experimental 9

ACR wheels were flow-formed though and the GT350 wheels are allegedly fully forged.  Fully forged wheels almost always have a weight advantage over flow-formed (“rotary forged”) wheels and are usually much more expensive too.  its unheard of for a forged performance wheel to be that heavy.

that is still absolute insanity for forged wheels on a performance car. OEM wheels on the original 2009 GT-R were 20x9.5 and 20x10.5 and weighed 25 and 27lbs. The forged versions that come OEM on the newer GT-Rs are made by Rays and are 22-24lbs. When the Viper ACR was out it had ~26lb wheels and they were some of the

there was a research article done on a Fiesta ST where they shaved like 8 lbs per corner using the same tires and they took like a half second off the 0-60 and made impressive gains in braking and cornering.  it translated to like 1-2 seconds on a minute long course which is pretty dang good.

lots of people like Nissan circa 80s-2000s.  they started going downhill in the mid-aughts and haven’t come back.  the SE-R, Z, GT-R, Patrol, Xterra/original pathfinder, programs have all either died or are currently dead on the vine and they have had major quality control issues.  Nissan needs a comeback.

why do people mention race when it is irrelevant then say “why does everything have to be about race” when something obviously racist is happening

my dad had one of these growing up and its the car i learned to drive stick on. they are mechanically very simple and robust and i think the looks have held up better than anything else from the era, however $5k is a little steep. I’ve seen them listed for $2-3k for less nice examples.  I think you could snag this one

world series MVP earning some points for this

dude if you want a $2600 DD i dont know what to tell you other than find a 90s honda or toyota and i hope you like crank windows

you’re a fucking animal stay away from civilized people just trying to live our lives

wow its almost like he’s got bipolar disorder that he refuses to treat

m6 is literally the same engine as the m5 and has the same issues

you gotta put some respeck on kobes name and credit HIS generation of awful people at the pickup game
