The only way to make a life is strange sequel really work, IMO would have been to set it somewgere else entirely, with a new cast and a story connected by nothing to the first except for the time travel gimmick

I feel like it’s gone full Westworld already.

It seems like it’s for the kind of people who play games for the “hangin’ with your real pals in a fictional setting” stuff.

It was safe, boring, bland, and awkward which is pretty much every EA E3 that I can recall. A Way Out was surprising, at least it’s something different. Man I’m so tired of “youtubers or as ea calls them “gamechangers”, hopefully none of that nonsense tomorrow with MS.

The only interesting title in the conference.

This game was made for Switch... even if it wasn’t.

The game has been out for 4 years now. Well past the time to be mad at spoilers.

A lot less interesting.

Abzu tried so hard to be journey that it hurt. Its pacing was basically identical. It’s hard to say if I would have enjoyed Abzu more if I hadn’t played Journey, but I suspect not much. I agree that it didn’t really manage to hit the same emotional notes.

Sounds bit like the feeling I had while playing Abzu. By all means, a beautiful game, but I couldn’t help but feel like it was a diet version of Journey. It was made by one of Journey’s developers, so it wasn’t unexpected, but the whole time I felt like the game wanted me to be more emotionally invested than I was.

Pretty bummed to see the somewhat lukewarm reception to this. I remember being so jazzed about it back when it was first announced like three years ago, but since then we’ve gotten a remaster of Journey, the incredible Inside, Abzu (which I really loved), etc... and we’re now at a point where this kind of game needs

To this day, no matter how hard you can argue to the contrary, ill never understand why they put that poor dude on skates.

Looks like they were tackling the guy in white running out. I assume they thought it was one of those people that charge on stage and the guy in white yelled at the one guard that grabbed him that he’s staff and that guard tried telling the others who you can see stop their charge, but some didn’t hear and charged

They thought the guy in white was some crazy person, rather than one of the production team. There’s a brief second of realization from the first MIB, where he lets go and helps escort. The rest of SEAL TEAM PIKA was already in motion, so...

What gets me every time that I watch the video or see the GIF is when the tail deflates at the end. It is such a brilliant finish to this mad cap stunt.

So why did two men basically tackle the pikachu? Seemed like the others were about to dog pile on....

Where were the black suits when he needed them?!?!.

This is a prime example why Disney needs to buy Nintendo. They would have shuffled out 10 more Pokemon to surround the deflating Pikachu and hustle him off stage all while dancing and not missing a beat.

Awesome to see the ‘Shop Contest back! I haven’t uploaded a submission for ages so this seems like a good time to return.
