I’ll remember that for next time.

Someone should ban IGN from all future E3 coverage. They always seem to have at least a couple minor technical glitches but this year, I don’t know if it was them or Disney or some combination but the broadcast coverage was horrendous. Everything after the Ellie kiss was cut out, glitches or censors during Ghosts and

The way I feel about RE2 is the way that so many people feel about FFVII. It was just better than all the other games. I really hope they keep the two player narrative. That narrative split between Claire and Leon has always been one of my favorite video game design choices.

Yeah. Even though Last of Us 2 looks fucking fantastic, Spider-Man looks incredible, Death Stranding is super weird but gorgeous, yadda, yadda...the conference itself was just kind of the worst? Then this comes on and BAM, I lost my shit a bit when I realized what it was.

This was the best reveal of E3 so far. By far. And it saved Sony’s conference.

This one was the big one for me. I lost my shit when I saw Leon. DAY 1 PRE-ORDER FOR ME!

Capcom just destroyed Square Enix with that RE2 announcement.

Seriously, I was ready to write Sony’s briefing off completely...and then Control came on. And then....this. I realized pretty quickly going in that it was a Resident Evil game, but it wasn’t until they showed Leon that it started to slowly dawn on me what it really was. HOLY SHIT!!!

“Flawed premise, dopey script, counterintuitive controls, total failure to meaningfully engage with the real-world issues it invokes.”

Wait. Rather than spend 3o seconds downloading a SNES emulator and ROM of the original game; these guys will spend significant man hours un-fucking-up a re-release to bring it closer to the already and easily available ROM?

The concept art for the casino scenes in Star Wars is way better than the casino scenes in Star Wars.

Gender pay gap has been 100% debunked. People just need to read a little to understand it.

oh, so It’s a fantasy game about imaginary world where gender pay gap myth is a reality.

I come to Kotaku for posts like the one you made a few days ago. It reminded me about something in the industry and in our culture that should be celebrated and discussed.

I’ve got news, this isn’t how it works “now,” this is how it’s always worked. Athens, the ancient birthplace of democracy was notoriously corrupt, riddled w/ perjurious citizens and catering to the rich and powerful. We’re just carrying on a grand tradition.

Yes, because those people aren’t giving millions of dollars to politicians. Who cares what anyone wants in this country. This country is bought and paid for by the big corporations and is horribly corrupt.

I’m not being facetious. If you don’t want to read the thoughts of someone who didn’t love the first game, you should look elsewhere. There are plenty of glowing reviews out there from people who love the series. Nothing wrong with that!

You are incorrect. This review was helpful to many people, including me.

Jason can you please rewrite this review so I can justify spending my money on this game. Please make sure to be as glowing as possible so I can also have someone to blame later when I realize that I wasted my money. Great talk, Thanks!
