Yes! In our case, I think a lot of it is that many people weren’t aware of the financial strains that the clinic was under. I’m hoping that by getting the word out, it will get folks talking about it. I live in a pretty liberal community, so it may be time for folks to show they believe in it!

I personally think it’s always more efficient to donate at the local level with almost everything. You can more easily track the money, make them accountable for it, and see where it goes!

Rural Iowa right here. I am involved in an effort to save our Family Planning Clinic. Just secured funding to keep it limping along another year. Time to try to get folks to open those pocket books now!! The place serves 7 counties!
