Can you take this to COTA and tell us how it does?
I would buy a Euro Passat wagon in a heartbeat. We got a sedan-only, decontented version aimed at the Asian competition. They got the boringness right, now let's wait and see on the reliability...
I go to church right where you're talking about. I've got to keep a look out for it. Its rare to see a D90, much less a 110. Thanks for the heads up.
I'm right there with ya. Other than the WRX and the FR-S there is nothing from their brand I would consider. I liked them more when they were more niche and less Toyota like ie they are building boring and bland appliances. Not to mention that for me CVTs are deal breakers.
those would be vaporware the moment you hit the loud pedal.
Well, shit.
When a Highlander Hybrid can easily be $51,000, I'd say this price for a Volvo is no problem. Further, most of the XC90 owners I've known had real money who didn't want to appear gauche (by driving a BMW or MB).
Dude, I love Fort Collins and I love Boise. Compared to Boston, DC, Philly, and the other cities on the 'worst' list... they're rural.
I guess they don't build them like they used to
the Big cars are torsen, the small cars (tiguan, golf, etc) are HALDEX. The torsen systems are wonderful, the haldex systems are...good marketing.
Any system that started life as a FWD drivetrain is the worst.
I agree nice truck, I like that you kept mods simple. Just curious as to what made you decide on a Land Cruiser? I'm guessing it's got a Lexus level interior but could never wrap my head around the $80k for a Toyota.
We should crowd source a software that over-rides the prius ECU and forces it change lanes to the right at the hacker's discretion. On second thought... nah fuck it.
"It's got a cop motor, a 440 inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
Cop brakes, cop engine, cop suspension, etc
Doug, I drive a Forester in Denver. The remark about the XV Crosstek (CO bowl smokers) could not have landed better.
