I agree. We just added a 2015 highlander to the Toyota stable at my house (in addition to my ‘13 Land Cruiser.) The Highlander is Camry-based with its 3.5L V6. Smooth, efficient, and quicker than you might expect.

Avoid getting rear-ended? Really? I got rear ended earlier this year but a guy in a ‘13 RAM with a malfunctioning ABS system. My wife was just rear-ended by a texting uninsured motorist while stopped. Uninsured woman hit her Touareg at 60 mph. Touareg did not catch fire.

That CT110 was my second bike as a kid. Clutch less riding FTW!

If you get into an accident with the general, Fred loya, occidental fire and casualty, or any of the other super discount carriers, be prepared for a fight. They are miserable to deal with.

Hmm. Have Cozy Coupe, rope, son, and bicycle. Also live on a cul-de-sac which is nicely round... My daughter is too little even for the cozy coupe.

Old engineering adage: Whenever you think you’ve made something idiot-proof, someone comes along with a better idiot.

They are pretty neat vehicles. The V-10 though is silly. Unless you like supercars and supercar-level maintenance (and have the bank account to handle it) steer far clear of the V-10. Many services are engine-out services which run a minimum of $4K. Still an amazing driving vehicle with loads of torque. The ‘09 V6-TDI

I love mine even though it’s a 2013 with 53K miles. I recently found out it had a check engine light when I started the thing up. Wouldn’t you know — it does come on when you start the truck.

I must’ve been asleep these last few weeks or months and had to resort to Uncle Google to show me the Jaaaaag SUV. It looks like an RR Evoque and I’m saying that having read nothing about it since I’m not interested in a Jaaaag SUV. I’ll drive my damned Land Cruiser past Priuses (on the right) and probably eventually

That looks good! I suppose it’s based upon the Acadia platform? Hmm...

Haha — I hear you. I no longer own a BMW but likely will again someday. Any time a cop sees a guy in his early 30s in a BMW, you’re going to get a ticket. I once got one in Thornton, CO for going 4mph over the limit. In my Land Cruiser, no one gives a shit even though it was 2X the price of the 535.

Sure. Let’s count the number of BMWs I’ve been stuck behind in traffic with no one in front of them: (zero.) Let’s count the number of Priuses in the same situation: (I’m a product of pubic education so I can’t count that high.)

Ugh. What a moron. Yes, you have a nice 17 year-old car but do what I do with my nice car. Park far away in one spot.

Cool! If I were to need this, I’d probably buy a suburban and then just get an F-250 and pocket the extra $60K. Or blow it all and get the hennessey supercharged Yukon Denali. And still get an F-250 diesel for my real towing needs.

Awesome! My wife’s Touareg was recently rear-ended by an uninsured person in a minivan. Touareg was stopped, lady hit her at about 60. The initial damage estimate was about 13K before they even assess the engine damage from the hit. (When she was rear-ended, the exhaust system ruptured the engine’s oil pan.) The

You need to go drive a Range Rover. Even one as elderly (in LR years) as Doug’s ‘06 is still a phenomenally nice place to be. They’re powerful, comfortable, and gorgeously built inside and out.

I agree. For what I paid for my Crusher, I could have bought a range rover. I love the range rover and occasionally lust for one. However with my job, 2 young kids, and a self-employed and very busy wife, I wanted something that would just run and not give me any headaches.

I have had stellar service with Groove Toyota here in Denver. It’s a big dealership that has a pretty new and fully renovated service department. Some of the techs still get excited when I bring the LC in since they “see so few of them.”

I was fortunate here in Denver with Murray. (I know...I’ve heard the horror stories too.) I always called and made an appointment for my 2010 535XI, showed up, picked up the keys to my loaner, and went on my merry way. They’d call me daily if the repair was going to take more than a day and always ask me how the brand

As an owner of a gorgeous black on black (I’ll own any color as long as it’s black) 2013 Land Cruiser, I’m never turning back. It’s ridiculously reliable, looks nice enough to valet park anywhere I want, and I can take it wheeling on the weekends with my kids. The LC is mine; my wife drives a 2013 TDI Touareg Exec.
