Unfortunately, I agree. Nissan is very performance oriented. If it showed the speed the Delta Wing showed (only a few seconds off the pace) they might continue, but being that far down on performance is just too great a hole to climb out of.

The main difference is that Toyota was on the pace, and even led the race. When Audi debuted, they did not have the pace of the Toyotas, BMW and Mercedes, but they still had the reliability to finish third.
