any modern car with no worn suspension parts, proper tires and alignment, on a non crowned road will stop straight, probably yours too. try it.

the Koenigsegg does not have stability control?

That’s what happens when you take a car developed on a runway to a real track ? :)

In this age of amazingly sophisticated stability control and electric power steering, maybe it’s not so surprising? Kudos to Koenigsegg for idiot proofing their car but what happened to “supercars have to be dangerous to be worthy”? This one you don’t even need to steer...

based on a family sedan? isn’t it a tube frame chassis with the engine moved back about where the front seat is?

is that a giant licorice root?

If anyone cares for actual facts, go check BTG. It does not say anywhere that manufacturers will not be able to set times on private test days though it could make a convenient excuse for Koenigsegg :)

as I mentioned elsewhere, this is really the fault of the “rent a Ferrari for an hour” businesses that enable these types.... and even give them a thumbs up rather than slap them on the back of the head!

2 things:

I have to amend the above. I suspect it is, in fact, a brilliant act.

I don’t remember Toyota being lapped by p2 cars... I predict the Fail Wheel Drive car will not be back.

curse of the art car strikes again!

or pay $9.99 for the WEC app which showed EVERYTHING with pretty damn good commentary to boot;

Can I say that if it was not for Nissan inviting, sponsoring, paying for...etc 8/10th of the world’s motoring press, we would all be laughing at the notion that it’s OK, even admirable, to turn up at the 24 hours of LeMans and claim you are just there to test? Or is that not PC?

Oy....

it’s quite amusing looking for that stock footage cut into every single review. At least this one does not have that overhead shot but it’s probably because they were too incompetent to find it. Who gets hue wrong in 2015? How is that even possible?

for the record, tires that last forever are a sure way to produce boring races

I don’t disagree with you, saner riders stopped racing there in the mid 70s but those who continue to, obviously have done the math and still go with it. There are some ways to make some sections of the TT a bit safer but I’m sure there would be outrage from the public. One day a bike will go into a crowd and that
