I wish that were true. But it isn't. Compare your OTA HD signal to any of these re-transmission companies and you will see that its not 1080p at all.

Here is my promise to you Vizio. If you can get all of the transmission companies (Comcast, TW, DirectTV, Dish, etc.) to push a TRUE 1080p signal ALL THE TIME ON ALL HD CHANNELS I promise (pinky promise even!) to buy one of these 21:9 TV's.

The perfect DVR was ReplayTV. Unfortunately it was so perfect that the industry had it killed. Go look to all the features (minus HD of course because HDTV was just coming on the scene when ReplayTV was killed) and you will see that there is no DVR on the market that does all that ReplayTV did.

I'm with you except for the duplicate recordings. Tivo NEVER records the same show twice where WMCE does almost every time. Tivo also has a tablet app that makes season pass management far easier.
