Agreed completely! My point though was that Google is shouting the loudest of all the companies that their way is better when even mere Windows Phone 7 surpasses Android in this particular facet.
Whats worse is it goes against the memory "sandbox" mythos Goggle is purportedly embracing with all their products. If the axiom were held true one app should not be able to bring another down, and all of us with Android phones knows that isn't really how it is.

What pile of crap hardware and antivirus are you all using to hate Flash this much? I have never once had a virus or malware land on my PC, laptop, or tablet from Flash usage. Nor have I ever had any of my hardware slow down from Flash usage.
If they are trying to stop murderers.... Wouldn't it make more sense to ban words like "insurgent, IED, bomb, Taliban, RPG, grenade, assault rifle, AK-47" etc?

Have you actually tried to use HTML5 yet to do what Flash does easily? It's no cake walk my friend. HTML5 kind of sucks right now still in the performance category. It needs to bake a little longer till its ready to dine with the masses.
