None of these arguments have any merit unless you consider all forms of media equally. Books, Music, Games, Art you must attack them all if you attack one of them.

Service competition is a race to the bottom. Sorry man, you'll have to prove your comment as it goes against observable industry trends.

More competition in this business would take care of most of these problems because the one company adding the hidden fees would stand out like a sore thumb versus to competitive companies.
