@Weezle41: Agreed completely. I am usually not susceptible to horror movie suspense but for some reason the "buried alive" part of Serpent and the Rainbow was rather unsettling to me the first time I saw it.

@Johny45: I wish it were that easy, but in the worst spam cases, the spammers are likely YOUR zombiebot computer in YOUR house.

@BigManMalone: I hear and respect what you are saying, but the truth is, no corporation is going to advocate this for you because what they want is not what we want.

@nauticalland: That is exactly what we are talking about. ;-)

@Michael Dukakis: If I were Kotick I would be more worried about prankster gamers following me around looking for a free cockpunch when he wasn't looking. Because Kotic surely needs a cockpunch right about now.

@Killer Toilet: I'm not sure if by "cents" you were being Pun-ny or just that english is not your first language.

@asTer0id: no sarcasm there, with the recent ruling you are dead on! Corps donate like citizens now. It's f-ing crazy.

@dfxdeimos: EFF is one, ESA tries to do what they can as well. EFF however bat shit crazy they are sometimes DOES help out with finding you the representative and even offers you a "straw man" email to start with that you can edit to your liking. But as I said the EFF is loco on some of their arguments though so the

Mike,

@Vidikron: Agreed completely. But as of yet I have not see the FCC do anything other than defend the consumer in this particular situation. Would the FCC later abuse their new found authority. Likely so. But as it stands right now, the consumer has no dog in the fight.

@mintycrys is HOT for Bayonetta: Look I hear what you are saying but the $$$ is so big that it crosses political lines. So you oust the current incumbent politician with popular votes, his replacement regardless of political affiliation will hold his hand out the the businesses wanting things "their way" and the whole

@Vidikron: Big problem, those very representatives you speak of are paid a lot more by the big businesses than you or I can ever compete with on donation. With the recent rulings of "no limit" on donations to the political fat cats by corporations this fact is now doubly true.

@5killer: Yeah but in the attempt to "make money" they are loosing the fun for the customer. This in fighting amongst the developers and the suit needs to (no HAS TO) be opaque to the customers.

I've said it before and I will say it again. Gaming was better before the suits and shareholders came to the party.

I eat and drink CRAP while reading books. Are we going to run a dental smear campaign against books too? TV? Magazines?

So I just bought for my daughter the very same IKEA desk. Did you wind up securing the legs to the table top or are they just sitting on top ready to fall over?

I don't look down my nose at motion control. There is just a time and a place for it. If the game can translate in to a real world motion, fine, use it. But if we are talking about a traditional FPS, NOTHING can replace WASD or a game controller depending on if you are playing on a PC or console.

@meatee: Have no fear. I love journalism. I was commenting more on this particular story than news in general. I certainly don't see CNN getting any Edward R. Murrow awards any time soon. ;-)

What? News organizations sensationalize the news so viewers tune in and ALSO see the advertisements?!?!? SAY IT ISN'T SO!!!
