As far as I am concerned, Microsoft fucked up one of the most lucrative franchises ever with the FASA products. The Mechwarrior/Battletech license was basically a license to "print money" and Shadowrun had loads of potential only to be rushed out the door unfinished and unmarketable.

Stability is unsurprisingly absent though.

I agree with others here. Ensemble did not fail Microsoft. Microsoft utterly failed Ensemble.

Not all of these software packages do h.264 AVC. Did anyone think of this?
