Got to say... Resistance 1's multiplayer was weak. It was as if they made a multiplayer games based on 1994 multiplayer game modes.

@pecheckler: Agreed completely! All these tools do is free up ram when if you kept more paged calls actually IN ram the PC would be faster.

I too liked Trillian until it seemed that the developers gave up on it. Also the Trillian Jabber plug in is TERRIBLE, and unfortunately my employer has moved exclusively to Jabber.

Best use of this application. It will kill any irritating software your corporate PC forces on to you. Especially that service allowing your boss to spy on your surfing/email habits.
As long as its freeware, use it, but be wary of Nero (Ahead Software AG) when giving them money. I had a HW incompatibility with the Nero SW with a specific drive used in a laptop and tried to return the SW within 48 hours and they tried to renege on the deal. Would not refund my money.
