The Pope sometimes reminds me of my grandma, a little. She’s almost 90 and devoutly Catholic, but even when people talk about “controversial” topics, like transgender rights her reaction is always the same: “Well, I don’t really undestand that, but so long as it makes them happy, that’s okay!”
