The GoT fandom - especially the men - get so vicious when the show is even slightly criticized. GRRM is so smug about writing strong women characters too, when they’re nothing but the same fantasy tropes. Like - I get that people are awful & women were raped, but there’s a difference in the way it’s treated by Ursula…

When you come from a position of privilege, being treated like everyone else seems like persecution.

I think sex ed is almost too late. This is something that must be handled from birth, teaching them boundaries, that no means no, modeling appropriate behavior, my sons have been taught since these lessons since they could talk. I include it in everything.
