Yeah, I'm from Louisiana and I keep wanting to hear a Southern accent, but at the same time it sounds all wrong. I believe the character's from Chicago? I wonder if she's supposed to be a transplant, and her accent is a mixture of Southern and Midwestern?

Can anyone tell me exactly what Lolly's accent is? I have a terrible ear for these things and can't place it at all.

I hope they leave out the stuff with King appearing in his own story…but if they leave that in, please cast Joe Hill as his dad!

It's true that there wasn't a big, dramatic season arc, and overall it was more lighthearted and "slice of life" than previous seasons. But for me that was a plus. The first couple of seasons were pretty intense, and I think trying to repeat that intensity for another season would have been tiresome.

If for no other reason, I'd watch S3 because of Pennsatucky's character arc, which is one of the most heartbreaking things I've seen on the show. It pretty dramatically opens up that character's story, and I think you'd be missing out if you skipped that.
