"Coked-out" perfectly describes what I didn't like about the originals. The humor is kind of frantic and pitched at a weirdly hysterical level. I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed any 80s comedies, but I suspect it hasn't aged very well.

I think they're doing too much sitting, actually. They need to get up, go outside, and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.
