Well that's ni- hey, I'm 47!

So I'm an old man is what you're saying.

From what I can tell, some combination of online gaming and Reddit.

Has ELO ever gotten anyone laid? They're like the dorkiest band ever!

I have a boring subconscious — my dreams are never as lively as David Lynch's! Mine are definitely more of the "tedious, grotesque" variety, hence my liking of Only God Forgives. :-/

I'm a sucker for crazy!

Stellar Justice Warrior

Kissing should be between a boy and his dog!

I thought that whole lip biting thing was supposed to be evidence?

I would certainly say that, including literally "name of project."

As I recall, this show was kind of the anti-Serial in that, while Adnan is a nice guy who probably did it, Peterson is a dick who probably didn't do it.

Yeah, that always messed with my head.

Interesting…all I can say is that for me, watching the movie as an 80s teenage boy, Duckie was a huge wish-fulfillment character for me. So I was definitely rooting for him, and was deeply disappointed that Andie went a different way. I'm sure at the time I was like, "Andie, you are crazy to choose boring-ass Blane

I'm horrified, yet strangely compelled…

I recall being deeply disappointed — for pure wish-fulfillment reasons, of course! — that Andie didn't choose Duckie. And yeah, I imagine most of those MRA "nice guys" probably imagine themselves as someone like Duckie. I just want to defend Duckie insofar as I don't think he is a faux nice guy, even if faux nice guys

Sure — Duckie is the feisty underdog of the movie, and the movie makes sure to play that up. I think it's folly to look at this movie as if it's anything like a realistic situation. In real life, Blane would probably have a more interesting personality, and Duckie would probably be more of a dick.

I was disappointed that Andie didn't pick Duckie, but I would never be cruel enough to wish art school on her!

Well OK, that would have been super obnoxious!
