This season has really sucked. I’ve taken to enjoying the first two periods of games they’re leading (also few and far between), then turning it off at 2nd intermission.

That mention of the E30 is slightly misleading; the AWD system from that car IS a viscous coupling system and is fully mechanical. BMW’s original AWD system is much closer to the quattro, save for power being split 37/63 F/R to preserve a BMW-like RWD bias.
