Aw man, the Wang brothers screwed the pooch with Dragon Knight. The actors were great, even the suit actors but that story just lost me and made me roll my eyes. They aimed too low, when they should’ve just made a solid story like the original series, no matter how dark it got.

Because it’s awful? It tried to veer too dark, I think, but it feels like it was handled from a very naive standpoint and they just kept killing people until the body count got ridiculous. I’m not a huge fan of Joe Odagiri’s performance in the show, either. I can’t explain it all, the series just rubbed me the wrong…
I’d guess that part of it is that the show doesn’t really hold up too well at this point. I imagine the older special effects bother people.

I just watched crimson peak last night, the atmosphere was amazing, plot not so much, but all around worth the time.
He roams from planet to planet devouring all the wealth and land he see’s. He’s Uncle Pennylactus, the devourer of fun!
