Artificial environment, probably some sort of Truman Show-type dome with controllable weather and day/night cycles. (Honestly, the first thing I thought of when I saw Marsden arriving on the train was Red Dead Redemption.)

I think they are really connecting it to the origional movie ,

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that Shades and Mariah are the best characters in the show. Like they just want things to get done properly but they have to work with all these people who are totally insane and keep screwing it up.

“Y’all Harlem niggas are off the hook. I’m going back to Hell’s Kitchen where it’s safe.”

So, I watched the first three episodes last night and I really liked it, though I do have a few gripes.

I’m hoping that they do a Heroes For Hire series with Danny, Luke, and Misty, and set it in Harlem. That’s the feeling I was getting that Pop’s building was set to become the Heroes for Hire business we’ve seen in the comics.

Thanks for the roundtable Evan, you found some good guests!

One thing this discussion doesn’t touch on in detail, which really bothered me, was the attempt at a Black Lives Matter/police brutality commentary. Mainly because it didn’t fit. Making the case that the police hunt for Luke Cage was about him being black was forced: It is hard to argue that they would have shown more

I don’t need a log in or test to tell me. My patronus is Godzilla. Godzilla would wreck the fuck out of Dementors. Step on Potter’s Bambi too!

Nope, beer’s good. This show would just ruin scotch for me.

You’re hiring a new actress, just make her a new character who becomes Ivy after all. WHAT IS WRONG WITH DOING THAT ?

Been done...

Yikes. You should have a Doctor look at that.

The giant ball is a living entity and he may have tried changing directions, I don’t remember, but it can too.

My new library doesn’t have the series I was reading.
