I like some country music and can’t say I hate this or anything, but the irony of such effusive praise ON A GOSSIP SITE for a song admonishing against sticking your nose in other people’s business (sorry, “biscuits”) is nearly perfect.

I thought everybody knew you make a Frosty with vanilla ice cream and Nestle Quik powder in a blender, adding milk if necessary to get it the consistency you want. Ratio of Quik to ice cream is up to you but there’s probably copycat recipes somewhere making suggestions about where to start.
Starring contest.
His casual dismissal of his daughter’s comment disgusts me.
Yes, totally agreed on the CTD!
Grenier’s supposed attractiveness is one of the most baffling things I know in pop culture, and we all know there’s no end to baffling things in pop culture. To me, the guy is not just unattractive, he is homely. I mean there are lots of male celebrities commonly fawned over for being “hot” that I just don’t get at…
Same! Well said.
Meh. Saw this and actually wished it hadn’t happened at all. I’m probably in the minority on this but I never liked Miss Piggy, in fact find the character really obnoxious and annoying. As for feminist, maybe it’s because I haven’t paid super-close attention to Miss Piggy (since I find her annoying) and I’m missing…
Exactly. Seems more likely that it just didn’t occur to the server. Which makes it a server issue, not a customer issue. Having the customer point something out on the menu for clarification seems about as basic as it gets.
I read “boof fallowing”, said it aloud once, and immediately knew it was buffalo wing(s). But I feel like I’m missing something. This is a long drawn out story that seems to me waaaaaaay more complex than it needed to be, as would any other situation where a server “can’t understand” what a customer is saying. Why not…
I wish I could give you a million stars for this.
Yeah, because nobody would ever take his picture otherwise.
Let me see if I have this straight. Some people didn’t care for the way she flies with her kid, so she wrote a snotty piece calling other people a-holes and generally posturing like she has the market cornered on “defensive (probably first-time) mommies who bristle and spit at nearly anyone who doesn’t think the way…
I’ll agree to disagree as long as you promise to never again call me “dude” because I’m not a dude at all, I’m afbbgt!
If you’re worried about defamation, you could’ve just said “I’m avoiding a lawsuit.” You phrased it more like you perceive yourself as taking something like a moral high road. Which you simply are not, at all. You’re gossiping. Nothing more or less, with or without specifics.
I promise I’m not being snarky. What’s the point of posting “I’ve heard some pretty fucked up shit about Dorinda” if you don’t want to repeat claims “as they are totally hearsay...”?
Possibly! But my guess is that the one I’m thinking of has such a high opinion of himself he’d never even consider that he sounds like an incessantly humblebragging ass. (But he does.) His name is not Jake Albrecht, for the record! : )
And does it so often and in the same way that some of us immediately have a pretty good idea exactly who you mean, by name. Not that there’s only one. But there is at least one that does this sooooo much. I always wonder “does he not realize how he sounds...?!”
No. She’s always written/said things like this. See her book “Grapefruit” (published in 1964) for evidence. People forget, or never knew in the first place, she is an artist and was before she ever met Lennon. Avant garde for some people’s taste, but anyone is very wrong who thinks she just says this “out there” stuff…
Someone else mentioned this issue of him supposedly being so much more intelligent than her, or this making her look real dumb. I just don’t see it that way. First, I don’t think she comes across as dumb, just that there wasn’t really a lot to say in response to his stupid questions. Or at least not a lot that she…
