Yep, I was a heroin addict for 3 years, and a side effect of opiates is itchiness. Luckily I didn’t get the messed up face either (outside of my normal occasional breakouts), but yeah it definitely happens.

Wouldn’t an adopted kid technically also be “ripped away from it’s roots and biological family”? And do you know how near impossible, and not to mention, astronomically expensive it is to adopt a child (unfortunately)?

I really do wish it were easier to adopt. It shouldn’t be too easy, but damn. Anyway it’s just super shitty form to criticize anyone’s personal family planning choices.
