And once they’re done they can all be new Pretties!

Yeah. I unfollowed his instagram once a bunch of posts were about putting up a giant cross on their land...got a little weird. Whatever, I just don’t jive with it, being a heathen and all.

Oh PLEASE send me that email. Sending the ‘not interested, k bye!’ Email back is SO satisfying. Got to do it once and it was lovely.

Me too! Made me wish I still drank. At least hanging out in the bar area usually leads to chatting a little.

We paid $13,000 in CT. One of the major reasons we moved to NH where we get full time Montessori for $9,000. It’s so much more affordable. So much so that I decided to work part time so he’s not stuck there 50 hours a week. I never had that option in CT.

I’ve been denied raises at my last two jobs after showing tons of evidence that I was going above and beyond. I’m so nervous about it now and it’s really shot my confidence. It sucks.

I had the BEST linen overalls in high school. With a crop top and some birks....I would totally wear that shit today if I had it. I put a hole in the knee of the overalls skateboarding, er, trying to skateboard to impress my boyfriend that summer. Sigh.

    Penny! Makes scorn so hot.

Just wanted to say I'm sorry, that must be so stressful.

Hear hear. If it can't be dried I no longer own it. Or at least don't wear it very often.

Yes! And note the weight limit for the LATCH system. My ‘little’ guy’s 44 lb and I didn’t realize the latch was only good up to 40 lb combined weight with kid + car seat. Cue the amazon order of hundreds of dollars for two new seats ASAP. Gah.

Just the best, funniest podcast. Great guests too. Always my first listen on my podcast list each week!

It's the best perk. My husband and I drop our son off at school and go to the gym, then go home and work. I'm in much better shape now and go much more often since it's baked into our schedule.

The pop up camper? I loved that thing! My aunt has one and my son played with it a year and a half ago and he still talks about it. I really should try to find him one.

Totally agreed. My husband and I were doing pretty well in Ct and we barely scraped by. Only had a house because we bought it from a relative, lucked out on a car, etc. and still couldn’t contribute to 401k’s or save for vacations, etc. it sucked. The cost of living, omg my grocery bill...was so high. Luckily we

Ct was brutal. We paid $13k for childcare for years. It’s why we only have one kid. We recently moved to the boonies in NH and I can afford to work part time up here (and from home like you, wow it’s awesome!). Childcare was a huge factor in our move. Fairfield county was awful. (Not from there, just lived there for a

I hated the people who were like,”aren’t you going to do it ‘just in case’?” Lol whut? On the off chance your god out of the thousands is the right one? No thanks. Ugh.

Yeah. F$&@ travel teams. My best friend in high school was home alone weekends all the time (I’d go stay with her and we’d throw parties, woo!) but it was all because her sisters were both on travel soccer teams. Spoiler! Neither are soccer champs now.

Exactly. Every time we talk about ‘doing less’ for our kid we end up on this point. If it’s hard now who knows what it’ll be like down the road? Partly why I’m pretty sure we’re only having the one. If we had two we couldn’t send our son to private school. Which he needs unfortunately. I never thought I’d be sending

Ours was the ‘safe place to let the kid run around’ pass. We lived on a crummy busy street where people drove like maniacs so playing in the yard wasn’t very relaxing. We recently moved to the country and I'm just finally ok with the kid going outside and not checking on him every 2 seconds. The stress was awful at
