I heard some people can't eat anything in the nightshade family (bell peppers, eggplant, potatoes, chili peppers, etc) because of inflammation. Maybe that is why he thinks he can't eat 'red'? I'm just glad I don't have to cut them out of my diet because the nightshades are some of my favorite foods.
