Capitalist society is hellscape enough for us adults, with every little damn facet of daily existence carrying a price. The commenters arguing that kids can (and should) be expected to learn about debt the hard way lack empathy and understanding that kids lack the developmental capacity to “buyer beware.”
I’d like to say that these guys just lost a sale, but I really don’t think I would have bought any of these anyway. I love the Arkham series (or at least the first 2), but GK looks like a wet fart and I’m not into co-op. The others barely even registered on my radar.
they will repackage it like gta5, we aren't getting anything for free.
I’ve got to admit, I’m less offended than I am just feeling a combination of disblief and hilarity. The idea someone actually deliberately designed this blows my mind.
People Can Fly was loved for making over-the-top FPS games and are shocked when they jump into this bullshit game as a service crap.
Aways sounded more like their answer to Borderlands to me.
If Call of Duty died as a franchise at this point I’d barely take notice.
The ubiquity of WW2 as a backdrop for FPS games is surely a contributing factor, however I’d say the fact that they churned out yet another uninspired, set piece laden bore-fest has equal if not greater weight where sales are concerned. I’m not sure why you don’t think lack of innovation is part of the problem because…
I mean, seems like “the masses” have moved to BR type games. All “traditional”(non-BR) FPS/Shooter games have been flopping/languishing at the moment.
I am sure it has nothing to do with them farting out a new COD each year for over ten years.
Similar to decades of US Foreign policy causing global conflicts the citizens of that very country have no understanding of.
I’m really trying to make myself excited for OW2 all the time, I just can’t. I can’t at all get into Disney feeling of it all. I really enjoyed Overwatch for about a year but it didn’t really do enough to set itself apart. I’ve been watching a lot of OW2 PVP just hoping that the PVE component will be interesting,…
my group loved overwatch in it’s prime. we all have 1000+ hours on our accounts. we stopped playing about 2 years ago when there weren’t any more real updates. we all got our beta keys (we all had to watch twitch for 4 hours, none of us got opted in) and then wait 2-3 more hours for it to show up in our accounts. we…
Who could’ve guessed that Blizzard is slacking when it comes to providing support?
I am deeply offended by this concept. It’s one thing to attempt to fix your internal issues by simply rolling out what some people think you should have done years ago, but this is just wrong.
Ah, yes. Blizzard, the company famous for an aversion to pandering....
Working for a garbage company might have had something to do with it.
They didn’t have a scandal involving a governor to distract from before.
