This “ingrained” look you speak of is not true at all, in fact, the first 2 WarCraft games had a much different look to them, I know, because I have been playing them for years and the manuals themselves point to a much darker and gritty take rather than this much more colorful, caricature people now come to expect.

Who says you have to literally copy the same look from a video game to a movie? they are 2 completely different mediums.

There is a difference between wanting a full CGI movie to a real live action movie with CGI everywhere (like Avatar).

Im pretty sure it would cost less to produce actually, no need to build costumes, sets or pay actors for their performance.

Thrall started out as an interesting character that could somehow bridge the alliance and the horde by being of orc origin yet raised by humans.

Fuck Thrall, he is just Metzen in Orc form, Im so sick of this pendantic character.

This looks great so far to be honest, but I just think the orcs will look out of place against real human actors.

Lothar wasn’t the king lol...King Llane was the king of Stormwind (used to be called Kingdom of Azeroth in WC1-2).

Are they? I thought the orcs would be pure CGI, I havent read anything about makeup on actors for this.

For all its improvements, I can still tell whats CGI and what isn’t.

The problem here is the following. You are going to have human actors interacting with CGI characters, that is a double edged sword.

Favorite DC super hero and why? (since you have a JL picture up top)

Great! from a historical perspective it will probably be worth playing, also a nice change of pace from all the anti-middle east media getting released on a daily basis.

“The world doesn’t revolve around gamers, you know.”

Its dead, dead, dead and dead. Quit lying to yourself, MS knows its dead, everyone knows its dead.

Now playing

Oh yeah sure, just like Kinect isn’t it?

You can’t really compare sales of a game released back in 1995 to sales in 2004 (or the ten years WoW has been around). It was a different time, less people had computers, game distribution was completely different back then as well and the internet was still in its infancy.

I grew up with the first few Blizzard games, StarCraft, WarCraft and Diablo, to me, WarCraft is and always will be an RTS and thats where it should be first and foremost, WoW in my opinion is a side game, not a main franchise game.

Yes they do, its kind of like Evolve, although Evolve does it to the extreme level.

This game should have launched as free to play from the start. It lacked content that was kept away just to be sold later as DLC.
