I understand, thats fair enough there have been games I have also never got too far in because I didn’t enjoy it as much.

I did wanted to get across that there are other options other than Destiny, and to me, ESO is one that could get people who want that same sort of expiernece interested.

“Waste of money when there’s much better mmo’s out there.”

On console? hah, I can count them in one hand.

I have characters in all 3 factions (have the pack to make them in any faction I want) but Im mainly in Dominion as I like Queen Ayreen :P Haven’t been able to play as much so Im sitting at 10 building a mage healer.

ESO came out last week on consoles, there is no PC version of Destiny. So you’re whole clan moved from console to play a PC MMO? uh huh...

And you couldn’t have played enough of ESO in a week to truly give such a short opinion of the game, so...I call bullshit.

Subscription models are an archaic concept and everyone knows they do not work these days, out of the MMOs out there only a handful still do subscription and most of them are games that have been around for years now, like WoW.

I don’t see taking out a subscription model as some kind of “failure” if thats what you seem

No actually Im talking about Destiny. You know, the game that launched with 25% content and the other 75% is getting released as paid DLC

Ive been on Kotaku for years now, Im not even from the US so please tell me how I can be an employee.

Jesus the stupidity of the internet, literally anyone who can say something positive about a game has been “bought” to say so, right?

You people are deluded and its just funny :)

You’re welcome :)

I wasn’t asking for approval, sourpuss

I was really excited for this game, it came out so how much DLC there was for it on day 1 and then never bothered to pick it up.

They weren’t selling us a game, they were selling us a platform.

I tried FFXIV I couldn’t handle it, too many complicated controls, windows, menus, etc etc. I just wanted to play, but it took forever to even get to the first city and then work through the complicated interface just to fight some mob outside of it.

Text chat makes sense for PC mmos, but the way ESO does it is way

Yes I have, its called WoW :)

Ill take it over a unfinished crappy MMO that launched with 25% content and the other 75% is getting sold as DLC.

:)

I wish, hey ZeniMax Media I want some money D:

You do realize ESO is a lot different than the game released last year, right?

Give me a reason why anyone should pickup a X1, please...

Please...people keep saying Destiny isn’t an MMO, but it is and a terrible one at that.

They just used fancy words calling it a “shared world” when in reality they just didn’t want to right out call it an MMO so it would make the media and players impressed and drool over it.

Oh? like which ones?

Thanks Destiny for the 2 or 3 months you gave me, Im not going back to it, I found a much better MMO in ESO and Im having way more fun with it, the world is big and there is so much more to do as well.

In fact, more people should be checking out ESO on consoles, its a much better game and a proper MMO, there is no

I want a draenei hero :(

So much for “exclusives” literally every game releasing for X1 is coming out for other platforms.

Good thing I made the right decision and bought a PS4 last September.
