This looks awful and I say this as a person who really enjoyed Halo Reach for all the new things they introduced on that game.
Halo as a whole, just looks flat and boring these days compared to other shooters.
Id love to see this franchise branch out into different gameplay styles not just FPS, run and gun.
Maybe they could experiment a bit before the franchise is put on hiatus and no longer relevant.
SL has a in world economy which uses Linden dollars.
6k Linden dollars is around $25
Some items are very cheap, costing only a few cents to a few dollars, it depends on what kind of item you are looking for.
For example, 1 hairstyle for your avatar is around 250 Linden dollars which is around $1.
SL is not a game, it is a…

Perturbator - Dangerous Days
While they may look similar, they are totally 2 different things.
It was a general statement, because that’s usually one of the criticisms SL gets.
*high five*
Exactly, thats what Ive been trying to tell people, but nope, most of them have already their opinions made by the media or some negative comment or article they heard about SL years ago and still believe its true, most of them haven’t even been on SL.
Its a shame really, because even for its age SL still…
Agreed, I always thought it would be cool to have different unit portraits/sounds for basic units like Marines and Zealots in male/female versions and they would be randomly presented when you made the unit out of the Barracks/Gateway.
Some people invest in SL because you are selling digital goods which don’t require real materials to produce or long work hours to get made. In the past, some big brand stores would hire artists to create products for them and then they would sell them at their store.
If you are a programmer or 3D artist you can make…
I started SL when I was 20 at that time I did not know or even heard of this “second coming” but if that was the whole prospect of it, it was not going to something realistic or achievable and it won’t be for decades to come still.
If we are imagining a world where all our lives, businesses and transactions are through…
appreciate the tip, Im going to look it up it does sound quite fascinating, Ive been monitoring some stuff about DRM in SL for a while because it has affected certain creators and products they sell, its a topic that has sparked certain outrage in the community for sure.
I totally understand your frustration, it took me about a year to also “get” how SL worked. In fact it took going into a forum and meeting someone there who eventually helped me get started in SL.
It takes time but patience helps if you are committed to it, you can learn rather quickly, if you know a bit about 3D…
Sure Ill give you some links of some of the people I follow, they do fantastic work. Some people do fashion or abstract pictures others do stuff a bit more elaborate:
there is plenty in anime, you like anime? seems like you do :)
Of course, I knew this comment was missing
You do fantastic work Drax, I love these little documentaries about real people and how they use Second Life, its not only interesting but also very educational in its many uses and applications.
Im glad we have people like you on our community to highlight the positives, so thank you for that!
It certainly is and Im glad it is too, I love it, specially because Im a creative person.
Thanks a bunch Drax, I love the work you do for SL and its community, I admire it a lot and Im glad you do it in a positive way!
