Incidentally, I already had that exact talk a week or so ago with Keith Phipps.

I haven't seen this flick in forever, but even for the 1970s, this is one dark film.  Chinatown is bleak.  But this?  This is scorched earth.

I love me a good trainwreck.  But not his site.  Please.

Three things:

Now Robinson????

And here I scroll down and see someone already mentioned "The Spot," my college roomies' watering hole!  Good call, @avclub-a452630477eb936fd36fc9a9542d4598:disqus

John Cage followed this up by performing a 22 hour version of 4'33''.

If they choose to hold true to the original script, they'll need to shoot older, since Adelaide and Nathan are supposed to have been engaged for 14 years.  Therefore, if we want to believe they're as street smart as they're supposed to seem, they should have had at least a few dalliances prior to their coupling, and

Guys and Dolls is dumb, mindless fun if you do it right.  If not, it's another "who the hell cares about theater anymore" experience.

Our Nicely in the production I did a few months ago was fucking atrocious, and turned this song in a backstage cringe match between myself and the actors playing Sky and Adelaide. Gouge out my ears with pliers constructed from ricin tipped porcupine needles.

May the theater gods save us from another goddamn boring version of the Sky-Sarah relationship.  The real Sky Masterson would dickslap every gambler and Salvation Army worker from New York to Pimlico singing "Luck Be A Lady."

Emma Watson makes my boyhood tremble.

Oh, it makes absolute sense, the eternal Seinfeldian chess match.

Great job!

I probably live down the street from that hotel.  I can round up a posse and go crack some skulls for you!

Naked, erect, backwards hugs?

Me too!
