He's looking more and more like Matthew Broderick in You Can Count On Me.

That was the first thing I thought of two, @avclub-3a964157d2661371723992a5bbe09992:disqus .  I watched the scene twice and couldn't stop laughing both times.

Betty's nickname would be "Steaky."

Actually, no, he's pretty right on about Don.

Not necessarily advocating it (you need to watch it at least once sober), but watching "Mad Men" baked is one of the greatest, funniest, and most abstract experiences in your own home.

This episode solidified my belief that the actress cast as Brienne based her look and performance off of Klaus Kinski in Aguirre.

They can both kill Carl in Walking Dead.

Every Thursday, like clockwork, I'd read his reviews on his website (sometimes Wednesdays after 10PM PST if I had time).  Like the AV Club upon going live, I wouldn't always find something for me to get into, but it's always appointment internet.  What is he saying?  What is he watching?  His perspective was unique,

Don't worry, @avclub-2bab7d26a8e7d46e1eba729f2a60a4c4:disqus, your column on Breitbart.com will some day get the respect it deserves!

Really anticipating this.  My sister used to work for Showtime and her bosses saw an advanced screening and were interviewed by the New York Times after, being asked, "How does it feel to have just seen the best film of the decade?"  Hyperbolic, surely, but still gets me giddy. Primer was a fucking gem.

I say that every time a movie includes too much exposition.  It's an incredibly profound and useful bit of dialogue.

Any relation to David Yost, television's Billy, the Blue Power Ranger??

Observe my Slings & Arrows quote beloweth.

"No no no no no, arguably it is not a better play, it’s actually quite flawed, it’s an extraordinarily difficult play to stage effectively, it’s blood, blood, blood, and more blood, and- I don’t wanna do it! This was Oliver’s thing!"
