Yeah, certainly a far more positive review than I would have expected. I didn’t plan to see it anyway (my main takeaway from “Unbreakable” was how depressing it was—I walked out thinking, “Damn, his poor mother.”), but I just read the plot summary on Wikipedia and...nope. No, thank you.
As far as I can tell, just three: that one, the second (Frank’s Return) and the thirteenth (Season’s Greetings).
That episode is on Youtube for anyone interested:
Looks like she’s his love interest, the pen pal.
Hair dye is temporary. His hot mouth is forever. Your loss.
This guy. He’s hot AF.
Chris Messina has moves Chris Pine and Chris Hemsworth can only dream of. Until they can move their hips like this, they pale in comparison to him.
I know this will remain trapped in the grays and unseen, but anyone who’s seen him dance—stripping or otherwise—on The Mindy Project knows he deserves to be a high-ranking Chris.
“A middle aged guy looking like Alan Rickman”
Cancel the fucking show.
It’s well worth reading the full Hollywood Reporter piece, which goes into far greater detail. By condensing both the accusations and denials into a shorter piece, the version offered here—inadvertently or not—makes it easier to interpret it as disgruntled former employees making baseless claims. The original piece,…
Sasha Alexander tweeted a defense of Weatherly today, when she certainly didn’t have to. More evidence that it’s unlikely her departure from NCIS had anything to do with him.
Sorry—it’s just something that bothered me for a long time and really soured me on the show. She and her character were great, and she was so obviously mistreated (ugh, that episode was so gross—just because she asked to leave didn’t mean he had to humiliate her on the way out). Yet so many fans jumped on the “oh,…
She says they let him know when they decided to recast, not that they asked him to come back.
I believe MegaBlastoise’s is referring to something that I’d always taken as proof that Bellisario was a dick (and the reason she left, not Weatherly). They let her out of her contract and killed her off in the Season 2 finale, but required her to come back for the Season 3 premiere, where her character appeared as a…
Tootsie’s Chicago run ended October 14; given that the writers would need time to make any changes and the Broadway run doesn’t start previews until March 29, and they likely won’t start rehearsals until January or February, he wouldn’t have needed to drop much to make it happen if he wanted to appear on the show.…
The Chicago pre-Broadway run of Tootsie ended October 14. Previews for the Broadway run start March 29. Even assuming they begin rehearsals in January or February to incorporate changes (which the Tootsie writers need time to make), he would hardly have needed to drop anything after the Chicago run ended to make an…
“He’s contracted to do 8 shows a week on Broadway, for one.”
I may be biased, because I’m from Illinois and am always happy to see wins for Democrats outside of Chicago (I’m from the red area...sigh), but I don’t think she’s getting enough attention around here. The youngest black woman running for Congress this year, the first woman ever nominated by the Democrats for this…
