Totally. The 80s seemed better for romantic comedies - everyone should check out American Dreamer with JoBeth Williams and Tom Conti - It's one of my absolute favorites ever.

Yeah, yeah, wink wink, we're all in on the joke of roller derby, look at how hot it is that we're rollerskating and hitting each other, also, ha ha sexually suggestive names, it's like rollerskating and burlesque at the same time!

I like her, but
I hate roller derby so much that I will never see this. Stupid fucking wannabe Suicide Girls and their stupid assertions that derby is somehow feminist and empowering. Stripping is more intellectually honest.

I liked it so much. I am a sucker for a little sweetness to temper cynical. Also, I hated Married With Children, never watched it, but Ed O'Neill is fucking OWNING on this show.

I have a theory, and it is that they figured that they were going to have to struggle to establish the show and that they were gonna go full on the first few episodes to make it easy for boneheads to understand and just lay out tons of drama to pick up the most viewers possible, and that's one of the reasons it's kind

This show
is in desperate need of more straight-up evil behavior from Chuck and Blair. This whole "oh, they've got souls" schtick is getting old. They need to be working together to destroy everything in their path. I am sure it's headed that way, but it really could not come sooner.

If not, then augh. I am not a grammar cop mostly but dude, Erik, come on now.

But I'm NOT a man. This show just makes me all mad. I even hate the holy shit out of Jeremy Piven while shaking my head and saying "well, it IS a good role" and I don't know why I am even watching it anymore.

I use the terms interchangeably all the time, even though Phsaw's explanation of the difference is exactly right.

I like it in this show
how they treat women as actual people instead of walking tit sticks who if they fuck more than one dude probably have VD.

Yeah, it's easy to forget why he would be in charge of this big company, with his dumb Japanese affectations and ridiculously good taste in art, but it all becomes obvious with that little game of chicken in Don's office.

I agree. I prefer Jamaican ska over all the other waves, and it's not just because some skinhead bitches at a Mustard Plug show in '98 were total coozebags to me.

Yeah, I totally agree about the Spanish speech. That was excruciatingly bad and Jeong was pretty much intolerable.

She looks like a dark-haired human version of Jessica Rabbit.

Ron is TOTALLY the best thing on this show, and I say that noting that Chris Pratt and Aziz Ansari are both amazing, so it's actually quite an accomplishment.

Also, Jim bought a house. Speaking as someone who has a house (check out how successful I am) that shit ties you down. So he can't necessarily move to another city blah blah blah

Yeah, their passed out reveal in the trailer killed me.

Okay, there's got to be something wrong with me
Because I was just not feeling it last night. I thought the last bit with their little play was pretty funny, but the rest of it just leaves me cold. I think it's maybe that I find Joel McHale as an actor completely and utterly intolerable. It's weird, because I

Yep, it's staying on my DVR. It's a cute show. Plus, I have this thing where I love all of the cast of Ed, so Julie Bowen, you know, I got your back.

Blair doesn't learn anything, really, does she? That's not how this show is supposed to be, with characters learning and evolving.
