Another Narrator Returns

Ha, is that first line you getting pissy that I didn't read all your comments before replying? I read your first comment, and planned on reading the rest. It should be your responsibility to not be thoughtless and consider that I might not be up to date on your comments when I reply.

I love how, by asking someone to confirm whether the spoiler is true, you're effectively asking to be spoiled. I think people who get angry about spoilers are ridiculous, but deliberately seeking out spoilers to mad about is really some next level ridiculousness.

I stopped around the point towards the end of One Minute where Hank is sitting in his car. He was just sitting in his car, nothing happening, nothing going to happen. It was clear this was a boring show and not for me.

So brave.

Sure, you came first, but I'm the Breaking Bad to your Weeds.

The true fans were in there from the start though, taking the show as it came. It's easy to say you were never worried about the direction when you started watching it after season 5, already having heard from everyone that it's great.

To be fair, the show was deliberately leading people to believe something like that with the flash-forwards. Ominous shots of two body bags outside Walt's house and a burned teddy bear from his child's room in the pool, it was definitely a cheat to have them be random plane passengers and an identical bear that

So what you're saying is every cloud has a silver lining?

That was my first thought too, but then I thought "no, Demolition Man was not better than Looper. It was okay, sure, but I'm not going to succumb to pitiful nostalgia and over praise every cheesy thing from the past because my life hasn't lived up to my childhood dreams. Fuck that, live in the now!"

Ugh, I'm generally all on for a spot of Dowd bashing, but all these comments are dumb. @The_Primordial_Dr_Zoidberg:disqus keeps pointing out that the movie is technically an allegory, which no one said it wasn't, Dowd was saying it's a bad allegory. @avclub-59c4e0a1cedba7dc5ff1541ac8b60028:disqus  is saying Dowd

It's too early to tell, but it's all the real critics who've given the bad reviews, and sites like IGN and Spirtuality and Practice that are giving the raves. So in general it's a bad sign.

Ten shitty movies and lousier tv show. But yeah, no way he was even on the list or even mentioned outside this website. It's like saying "maybe Bruce Willis will be the next Doctor."

Premium Rush was a fun movie. But the blame where it belongs, right on Steven Spielberg's dumb LaBeouf loving melon.

Bruce Willis can still show up in a Looper or two though. And really, to find a Stallone movie better than Looper you have to go back 30 years.

I'm not so sure, I can imagine him playing a young super cool rapper on the make, and pitching it as a hip hop Entourage.

Dane Cook's defense is completely reasonable to me. The only reason people made such a big deal of it is because everyone hates Dane Cook and his terrible comedy. Louis CK had a joke in one of his specials that was originally a Whitest Kids You Know sketch, but no one called him a thief cause it's ridiculous to think

The only reason there's this idea that character and plot are at war with each other and there's different camps is because critics feel the need to justify the terrible ending of Lost. Obviously both character and plot are important and if one fails completely then the whole thing fails.

Maybe in the future, rather than consciously trying to prevent yourself from doing stuff like this, you should try to cure the sickness inside you that makes you want to do stuff like this.

Hartnell looked about 600 though.

"Gay agenda" only has a negative connotation if you're an ultra right wing homophobe or an idiot. Of course there's a gay agenda: to get rights for gay people and prevent discrimination against gay people. It's a good agenda. And RTD contributed to that agenda, yes by
