I'm surprised by the lack of a couple of Robb's eleventh-hour acts. No legitimizing Jon? No sending emmisaries off to Howland Reed? I hope that doesn't mean they're not very important to the story…

I know exactly why they did it. They did it because they are worried that Jaime Lannister will get alienated by the audience, and thats not good when they wanna make him into America's favorite bad boy or some shit like that. And THAT"S what pisses me off. The only reason they changed the line was because they don't…
I only screamed when Roose didn't say Jaime's name. I will be forever bitter.
Well, I think it at least shows that if Robb does have a baby, it won't be anything game changing or required. Cause if it is that important, than the show will have to bend over backwards to hit all the main plot details.
Just like every other night
If anything, I'd say that Robb is MORE of a hero figure in the show, since we get a lot more time with him. In the books, we only saw him through Cat's eyes. The TV show has actually gotten me to care more about Robb than Cat, while it was the opposite when I was reading it. I believe that the Red Wedding is still…
That prophecy thing doesn't come into play in the books until AFFC anyway, if I remember correctly, right around when Cersei starts getting POV chapters. Cersei's hatred of Margaery is more evident in the TV show than it was in ASoS, since Cersei is much more like a POV character in the show.
*Two weeks. They're skipping memorial day weekend. Which means we all get to wait in agony longer…
No, no, FLAY. He got an internship a the Dreadfort
Could you imagine that, though?
Yeah, I know, but the wedding was pitifully small. What, 40 people present to see the former hand of the king and the soon to be heir of the north's wedding? Joffery's wedding better be jam packed
Yeah, I really don't think they can fit that much shit into two more episodes. Joffs wedding requires a lot of setup that we haven't even touched yet, not to mention all the other storylines they still have to finish. If they DO try to fit it in, then the other storylines will suffer, I think.
I think it's just how his cruelty manifests itself towards Sansa. Prostitutes (and, it seems, Margaery) are very willing to have sex with Joffery, which doesn't arouse him. But the fact that Sansa is so unwilling and innocent means that Joffrey has to force it out, and Sansa won't like it, something that Joffrey can…
God, that battles gonna suck, it looks like they've got 10 guys attacking from the south. Where's my 50 Thenns?
Not full-on, only half. Remember, its Game of Thrones, no naked men
On GoT standards, I'd say that a B is pretty accurate. This episode just seemed like a whole lotta "Meh".
Tyrion and Sansa's wedding seemed REALLY small. When I was reading the book, I imagined the Great Sept to be HUGE, like, Sistine Chapel size, but the one on screen seems about as big as a high school gym.
Either way, Tywin's pulling the strings. Roose takes orders from Tywin, now, remember.
Yeah, there really are way too many plausible heirs, and having a Robb Jr. would over saturate it, unless that's what GRRM is going for. Wouldn't be the first time he made things needlessly complicated.
Yeah, if they hinted at it in the books, they're basically telling it in the show
No,I know it doesn't make sense. I'm just saying that anything's possible.
