I dunno, maybe its the absence of her inner monologue, but book cat seemed to be much more grounded and firm in her decisions, and defending them, while i'm not getting as much, or any, from tv cat.

Given the way they've butchered Catelyns character, I'm not too upset about it. Cat went from the strong, smart woman of the books to the whimpering, annoying mess we see onscreen. Makes me sad.
Totally. Good to see that the misogyny of the middle ages lives on in the showrunner's hearts.
Maybe the Blackfish steals her away? Cause they can't kill him too, and he's still with Robb, not back at Riverrun like he should be…
Christmas 2014? THAT would be a bigger surprise than the Red Wedding (though not an unwelcome one)
Although when has anyone in Westeros been 100% for anything? And GRRM may just be trying to keep it that much of a secret, trying to shock us all again
I don't think that the PW will be this season. The pre-summary of ep. 10 says simply "Joffrey challenges Tywin", which means that Joff's still alive in the last episode, and it seems well before his wedding.
Honestly, I see nothing good out of putting the PW this season. If that is how they're going, they still have a…
Ah, right, my mistake. I thought he left at the beginning of SoS
Given the way D&D are going, I wouldn't be surprised
I dunno, many would disagree to that fact. We don't really know who is or isn't important. Jeyne Westerling isn't dead, yet
So are we just abandoning the idea that Bronn leaves Tyrion and goes off to some other castle to fuck shit up? Cause he was NOT here this long in the books
I really hope not. Every torture scene gets worse and worse (though the actor playing Ramsey is killing-or should i say flaying-it). I think they should have given theon a break for at least ONE season (kinda like the books), just so they wouldn't have to keep checking up on him.
Same. Every season i get more and more nervous that they are going to change to much. But hey, the books and the show are different
Well, considering the speed that Melisandre has been moving, he should be back by the opening credits of next weeks episode
Can't wait til she disappears for 2 1/2 books
you get a butt! you get a butt! everyone gets a butt!
In the books he's still in the Brotherhood in book 4, I guess keeping their favorite inn safe?
yeah, but the faith militant (or inquisition) still seek to preserve the power of the church. When inquisitors went burning heretics they did it less because they believed it was gods plan and more because heretics were a danger to the church.
The Lord of Light's religion, however, resembles the crazy fire and…
KL politics seem less about intrigue now and more about whos boning who and who can get the best one liner about it
While this episode was good and all, there really wasn't much that stood out for me. Just seemed like a blah episode, especially after the last few. While there wasn't much I HATED, (except maybe what they're doing with Gendry), there wasn't much I LOVED, either.
Also, is anyone else slightly annoyed with how all…
